  My son has been attending Rosehill for almost two years now. His vocabulary is great and his overall knowledge and a number of random facts he brings up is impressive. He's also learned to be kinder and more considerate. Their "walk, whisper, work" motto is a great mantra for school, as well as at home. All teachers and support staff are gentle and loving, yet professional and qualified. The school is run by the board consisting only of parents, which means children best interests are always at the forefront of all their initiatives and decisions. In addition to Montessori curriculum, they have French, Music, and Dance. Lots of fun field trips in the summer. And very importantly, compared to other schools in the area, Rosehill is open most of the year, including winter and spring breaks and only short breaks between semesters.

  My son just graduated from the kindergarten at Rosehill and has attended there since he was 3. Over the last three years, he has blossomed from being very shy and quiet to becoming a peer mentor for the younger kids, being very independent, showing a deep curiosity about the world, and deeply caring about others and the environment. I love that the teachers at Rosehill foster all of these things and find the balance between letting the kids pursue their areas of interest (like geography and practical life in my son's case) and preparing them for 1st grade with a strong emphasis on reading, writing, and math. Since the school has a parent board, the students always are the top priority.
